Privacy Policy

Ajarna (“the app”, “we”) helps property owners and tenants track leases, installments and payments. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use and protect it.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email and/or phone number, and profile photo when signing in with Google or Apple.
Property and lease data: properties and units, lease parties, rent amounts, payment schedules, payments and receipts, and maintenance requests — as entered by users.
Files you upload: photos of properties and units, and documents attached to leases (for example an ID or a signed contract).
Device data: push token (FCM) and platform, to deliver reminders.
Subscription data: subscription status from the App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We never receive your card details.
Usage data (analytics): screens viewed and features used (for example “lease created” or “payment recorded”), app version, device model, operating system, language, approximate location (country/city, derived by Google from your IP address), an app-instance identifier and your internal account ID. We do not send your name, email, phone number, amounts or lease contents to analytics.

2. How we use data

To run the service: create leases, generate schedules, record payments and issue receipts.
To send the reminders and notifications configured by owners or tenants.
To link a tenant to their lease when the invited phone or email matches.
To understand how the app and website are used so we can fix problems and improve features (analytics).
For support and fraud prevention.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Who can see your data

Lease data is visible only to its parties (the owner, managers they delegate, and linked tenants). We use processors to run the service: Google Firebase (sign-in, notifications and Google Analytics), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and our hosting and database provider. These providers may process data on servers outside your country under their own data-protection safeguards.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase in the app, and on our website) only to measure usage. Google Signals, ad personalization and advertising-ID collection are turned off, and analytics data is never used for ads.
In the app you can turn analytics off at any time: More → Account & privacy → Share usage analytics.
On our website Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*). Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and analytics cookies are not set unless they accept. Anyone can change their choice using “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep data while your account is active. You can export your data or delete your account anytime in the app: More → Delete account. On deletion we remove your personal data and reset the analytics identifiers on your device; anonymized financial records may be retained where required by law. You can ask us to delete analytics data linked to your account by contacting us.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase authentication and strict server-side authorization so users can only access their own leases.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time, under Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 and the EU GDPR where applicable.

8. Children

The app is not intended for users under 18.
